An internet equine directory of homozygous horses and horses w/ RARE dilute & other interesting genes. This website is intended as a fun resource for mare owners as well as documenting interesting equine & rare breed genetics. We will mainly list breeding stallions, of mostly riding breeds. For horses w/ RARE & unusual gene traits - both homozygous AND heterozygous horses may be listed. This Directory is set up by trait, then breed, then location. This website is new; qualifying horses list free with good photos.

Probably wouldn't expect to see a sorrel on the front page of Homozygous-Horses.com would you? This is *Rush River Slash, he has produced 100% curly foals bred to 12 straight coated mares, so is possibly a homozygous dominant Curly gene producing stallion. This fancy, friendly hypoallergenic stallion is owned by the Old West Curly Horse syndicate, Missoula, Montana.
